I am a currently a junior in high school and my grades are pretty good. I am getting SAT scores back on the 22nd. I was wondering what I could do for extracurricular activities considering I have none for the last two years. I know I fell behind on this, but is there sill a chance for me to catch up? I am not really into sports, arts, or music. I was thinking of volunteering at this local animal shelter, applying for UPenn’s medicine summer program, and/or trying for summer internship at my local hospital. (LVHN) I want to get into either UPenn or NYU for pre-med. How are my chances for NYU in particular considering SAT scores is 1450 (New)?

Why?
Why would you want to go to either for premed, particularly with a SAT 1450 (equivalent to an ACT 32).
Also…have you spoke to your parents about how much they pay each year for college?
What is your home state?
