lol i never drive in the city though

2000 Toyota Camry. YEAHHHHHH

2006 GMC Sierra :D

Nobody else here drives a '92 FootMobile?

^I drive a '94! Fuel economy is stellar, although it’s not even street legal on highways.

Take this for what it’s worth because it’s coming from the owner of an '01 Chevy Silverado, but I’d go for the practical car, especially since you’re going off to college. I would think that there’s a risk for a sportscar to get stolen. Even if that’s not really the case, you probably won’t be driving too much, which means that your car is going to be sitting outside exposed to the elements without much attention and there’s always that chance for dents and scratches in a parking lot (I assume you’re taking it to college with you). Also, it’s probably harder to fit dorm materials and luggage in a sportscar than it is to fit them in something like a Civic, if you use your vehicle to move them (not sure if you’ll be shipping yours). Besides, you can probably get a good deal on a solid, reliable Camry or Civic that’s in good condition with low mileage and save the rest of your cash for something else. Sportscars can be fun, but I’d go with the practical option.

Then again, I also subscribe to my father’s philosophy of waiting until your midlife crisis to buy a sportscar.

2007 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. Lifted. Going off to U of Oregon next year. Not gonna take a car my first year, but I think I’ll have to get rid of it for my 2nd year unless gas prices decrease considerably.

No car, just a bike :)

It’s called a big yellow school bus

97 Camry with peeling paint. Like a boss.

Seriously though, it’s fine. As long as it’s reliable and not terrible on gas, don’t sweat it. I know kids that have really nice cars My school’s divided, half the kids live on the hill, and the other half live at the bottom of the hill. The richer you are (and the nicer your car), the higher up the hill you live, so there’s quite a few Mercedes, BMWs, and Porsches driving around here; I’ve even come across Bentleys, Maseratis, and a couple Lambos, but not at school.

A girl that I used to date had a two-seater Mercedes and she thought that it was fun for a little bit, but absolutely hates that it only seats two; on the other hand, I can stuff 5 or 6 into my Camry. If you’re not carting people around or going out with your friends a lot, then go for a car like that, but if not then prepare to be limited. I know kids with Camaros and Mustangs that hate them because the backseat is tiny, too. A LOT of kids at my school are into the whole ricer/tuner scene (mostly due to the huge Asian population), so we have a bunch of kitted Hondas, Nissans, Lexus, Toyotas… basically anything foreign.

i ride a donkey.

honk honk.

2003 Mini Cooper S
