My major will be astrophysics, and to help my application I’d like to join a club. But my community college has neither a physics, astrophysics, or astronomy club. Should I instead join math, chemistry, or engineering club?
is there a physics club? I mean if your interested in telescopes and the mechanisms behind astrophysics do math and engineering (chem has less substance here), but if your interested in the characteristics of deep space objects (black holes, hyper giants, galaxies etc.) do chem and math. If you can only take one, I’d say do math as astrophysics requires good understanding of math. But really, i think you should be looking for a physics club (try to found a club, if nothing works out)
my bad i didn’t see you already said there was no physics club
Haha, thank you for your advice
Any other opinions?
