<p>I just toured UCSC this past monday, on the Baskin School of Engineering open House tour. The tour guide, a senior at BSOE, and also a student advisor, told us the following:
Crown is where the “nerds” hang. It is mostly the engineering students, those into “gaming.” Kresge is for those more liberal than the average liberally-minded UCSC student and offers a food coop. College Eight is for those that tend to be athletic, as it is next to the tennis courts and a jog to the recreation building. He said something about the others, but he was talking fast and I did not write down what he said. Sounds like you would fit into Kresge. Hope this helps.</p>
