What colleges are likely to give me merit scholarships?

<p>Hey all, I'm a junior this year and im looking for possible half-full tuition scholarships since my parents can't pay that much..</p>

<p>Im a Chinese female, Canadian citizen, and live in Vancouver. i noe international is really comeptitive, but still...</p>

<p>SAT: 2210 (740CR 760M 710W) will retake, i was stupid enough to miss 4 questions in a section and had to go back to do them during the next section while watching out for the lady supervising...</p>

<p>SAT II: havent taken yet, will be 700+</p>

<p>GPA: 9+10: 3.93 uw
11th: 4.0 uw
school doesnt rank...</p>

<p>EC's are VERY average, newspaper club, volunteering, interact, gay straight alliance...etc..havent won any major awards.</p>

<p>essays and recs should be good-excellent..i noe i prolly wont get into ivies, but what schools should i consider that would offer me scholarships? since i think FA or intel is nonexistent outside ivies?</p>

<p>i would prefer a school in california or northeast, near/in a city, fairly famous, recognized, and not too religiously-affliated..help please! thank you thank you..</p>

<p>University of Southern California guarantees half-tuition scholarship to national merit scholars. Did you take the PSATs?</p>

<p>USC offers may merit scholarships outside of NMF as well, and is very friendly to internationals.</p>
