What colleges could i get into? (grades and Sat score included)

I would like to go to a good school but i think Junior year mite half ruined that dream.
Freshmen year I took English Honors, Geometry, Biology, Sculpture, Hert Sanish I, P.E and received all A's both semesters.

Sophomore year I took English Honors, Algebra II, World History Honors, Chemistry, Hert Spanish II, P.E. and received all A's first semester except for one B in English. Second semester all A'.

Junior year:
Semester 1; Semester 2
English III Ap - B; A
Pre - Cal - B B
US History AP - B; B
Biology AP - C +; B
Art Hist. AP - A; A
Span Lang IV - A ; A

Senior year I am taking AP Chem, AP Gov/Econ, AP Stats , AP English IV, AP Psyc , and Yearbook.

Junior year I also joined six clubs on being an academic one and another focusing on community service.

My SAT score is not so hot but I did not study and I plan to take it in oct. My score was around 1710.

Fresmen year i would have said i want to go to Berkley, NYU or UClA. Now i dont know.

Are you instate for Calif schools?

If not, what is your home state?

What is your intended major? Intended career?

What kind of schools do you like?

How much will your parents spend each year? (for instance, if you’re OOS for the UC’s, then those would cost your family $50K each year…would they pay that?)

I don’t think you’ll get into Berkeley or UCLA unless you seriously improve your SAT score. Admissions are more competitive now than ever before, and the UCs have become very selective. I would aim for at least a 2200. Make sure you take honors and AP classes as a senior and do well in them (no C’s, and preferably more A’s than B’s). It’ll be a lot of work, but you can do it if you plan well.

I am not aiming for those schools anymore. School started a week ago and I am taking six AP classes this year. My schooled turned Gov and Econ into a year long course so I have seven periods. I would like UC’s public or private schools and my home state is California and would like to stay here although NYU is the only out of state school I’m interested in. Cal States are my back up schools. My mom makes about 39 thousand a year.

I want to see what schools I should apply since application is coming up soon. Help?

@egemily - Just get your SAT scores up a bit…
and you should be in decent range for NYU…
i’d recommend your SATs be at least 2000 though or around it…

REMEMBER! it never hurts to try so apply wherever necessary
