What colleges did you get into (3.0 - 3.3 GPA)

Hi, i'm Ashley. I was just wondering what colleges people have gotten into with a GPA of 3.0-3.3.
I just finished my junior year, in the middle of the semester my weighted GPA was 3.3. I take honors and AP classes every year. So far i've taken: 5 honor classes and 4 AP classes. I've been in speech and debate for 2 years, and will take it my senior year as well.
This coming senior year i will be taking 5 AP classes and ROTC.

I just took the SAT and think I did fairly okay, I plan on taking it again in October and then subject tests in US History, Biology, and Math in November (I'm going to submit these scores as soon as I get them in. I know they'll be coming in quite late.)

I'm taking online classes, just to learn more about things like neuroeconomics and psychology.

I'm not super big on extra curricular things .. like sports (i'm too clumsy for that!)
I've been in an art class since i was in 7th grade, love love love art.

I plan to volunteer at the valley children's hospital this summer as well as next summer.

I want to apply to colleges like: UCI, UCSB, USC, CSULB, and UCSC.
I'm trying to stay in California, I just love it here.

What colleges did you get into with your GPA score and SAT score?

Uhh UC’s kinda expect a weighted GPA* of 4.0+ as well as extracurriculars. Same with USC, although they mainly evaluate unweighted GPA. You might wanna add some more CSU’s…

*UC’s only use grades 10-11 for GPA calculations, limiting extra points to 8 semesters of AP/Honors.

What’s your UC-weighted GPA? That’s what they’ll use for admission. Check back in once you have that and your SAT score. Right now, I’d say that UCSB is a real reach, and UCSC a high match/low reach, but if your weighted GPA is significantly higher and you tested well, that would change.

Unless you have a 2200+ on the SAT to compensate for your GPA, USC is probably gonna be a no. Usually, a candidate doesn’t need that to get into USC, but your GPA is very low for USC.
