What colleges did your son/daughter decline to go to BC?

It’s May 2nd, and decisions have been made. What colleges did you (your son/daughter)
dicline and chose BC to attend?

I declined McGill U. in Montreal, but I’m still waiting to hear back from waitlists (5 of them).

Oh, forgot to add that we chose BC over USC.

Vanderbilt, University of Michigan Honors, University of Wisconsin Madison-Honors, Colgate-Benton Scholar, University of Richmond, and Lehigh

St. Andrews, Northeastern, Trinity, UVM, Elon, Richmond

Cornell, UNH, Northeastern

University of Virginia, University of Wisconsin Madison, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

St. Andrews and Emory

NYU/Stern, Wake Forest, Cornell (guaranteed transfer), Fordham, Bucknell

Tulane, Rochester

USC, UCLA, Berkeley

Is your daughter/son doing BC then gt ing to Cornell?

No, during the summer orientation before the start of freshman year, she fell in love with BC and thought most likely she wouldn’t transfer. She just finished her sophomore year and is extremely happy right where she is. Getting involved in a few key activities, along with the quality of education and the BC environment in general, were strong factors influencing her decision not to transfer to Cornell.
