What are you turning down for Princeton?

<p>Thought it'd be interesting to see some responses.</p>

<p>As for me, I'm turning down Harvard, Penn's M&T Program, Cornell, and Dartmouth for Princeton.</p>

<p>Everywhere else I applied: Columbia, Berkeley, UCLA, USC honors science, and Harvard (if being on the waitlist counts)</p>

<p>I MAY turn down Harvard, Brown, UCLA, Berkeley, USC, Notre Dame, and NYU for Princeton. I haven't decided yet...</p>

<p>Son is turning down Brown, Georgetown, Notre Dame, NYU, Boston College Honors, Fordham honors, Rutgers honors, etc.</p>

<p>uchicago and umichigan (ross preferred admit+honours)</p>

<p>oh and waitlists for columbia and stanford</p>

<p>It's so hard...I am really excited about Princeton but it's just so hard for me to make this decision. I'm mailing in my card tomorrow...did anybody else feel a twinge of regret??</p>

<p>Carleton, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Haverford, Macalester, Oberlin, WashU, waitlist at Swarthmore and Williams, and especially Amherst and Brown, which were my other two top choices.</p>

<p>j07, I feel the same way as you do. But there's definitely no way you can go wrong with Princeton. It was most difficult for me to let go of Yale, because so many people told me that I should really look into it since it "fit" me. The fact of the matter is that Princeton gave me a significantly better financial aid package than every single other school, and this factor sort of made my decision very clear.</p>

<p>Turns out I did choose Princeton over those other schools. Yeahhhhh!</p>

<p>turning down Northwestern. only kidding I was ED but badly wanted to apply/go there.
Oh well, Princeton's a lot better. : )</p>
