As I mentioned on a previous thread, I'm interested in education/teaching/working with children in some way and also in TV writing.

However, another one of my major career aspirations is to become a life coach/health & wellness coach. I'd like to study nutrition, positive psychology, exercise, and related subjects in regards to helping people overcome life difficulties and mental health issues in natural, risk-free ways rather than relying on medication or traditional psychotherapy. I'd ideally like to offer full services, evaluating a person's problems and current life through many different lenses and helping to craft a tailor-fit plan for that person to try.

Any ideas on majors I should look into? Or what colleges might offer training for that particular career path? Or would I be better off earning certifications (such as health and wellness certification, life coaching certification) rather than a BA?

Thank you.
