What colleges look for in a transfer

Nspeeds, I like your creative energy. Do you want to read my H essay. I got really insecure after sumitting.

What is a hoop-skirt?

I'm really exhausted from this impressive attitude towards colleges. I say...submit what you have...be honest...be energetic...and let the colleges decide whether or not you'd fit in at the school. Ultimately, it's going to come down to how well the university would be able to serve your academic interests. It's not worth it to bend over backwards for something that is no longer in your hands. All you can be is YOU, and let the colleges fight over who wants YOU at their school.

I am just not sure I can trust you.

Don't take it personally, Martini. For our comrade nspeds does not like to read the work of his peers as he believes himself to absorb the writing style. And if he cannot "trust" the writing, he will simply turn his eyes away.

However, it is quite a pity of a strategy if you ask me. Evaluating the work of others, finding mistakes -- as a Philosopher above all should know -- is conducive to discovering how to write effectively for oneself.

And he has still failed to reply to my inquiry regarding the metaphysics of a hoop-skirt.

I am tired from arguments on this board, so I retire. I just wanted someone to tell me if they find the tone of my essay arrogant. I guess it is better if I just wait and see. May cannot come soon enough.

I thought Harvard's decisions would come by early June.

Aaaaah, I know what you want me to doooo. You want me to say something so you'd say "didn't you retire".

But I woooont. I wont :D

Harvard's decision came mid-May last year. The email typically arrives a week before snail mail; variations depend on one's exact location, of course.

Where did you apply last year Janel?

I applied to Harvard last year.

do colleges consider the applicant's gpa in his or her intended major -- or just their overall, cumulative gps?

It depends on the school.

hoop skirt
n.
A long full skirt belled out with a series of connected circular supports.

Ah!

it is so funny how we are always speculating, u will see, some ppl here that have all of the "desired" traits will get rejected everywhere, sad, but thats what happens sometimes, u have to just accept it, ur just another person applying for limited space

some ppl here that everyone says have little change will be admitted, its such a tricky game to predict, so many factors

u have no idea, ur ap may be read by someone when they see that ur from place x located in state y it brings back a good memory when they were younger, immediately they may be more favorable for u b/c they are in a better mood, u have no idea.....these admissions ppl are real pp l

"these admissions ppl are real pp l"

nice joke there ^
