as the title says,
what could i do as a freshman to best improve my chance of getting into a top MBA school?
thanks for the help.

Get good grades would be a good start. You do realize that all major business schools and most others require a minimum of two years of full time work experience after a bachelor’s degree?

Start preparing for GMAT.

@tomofboston
yes I do understand the work experience stuff.
so ill proly get internships over the summers and also work like 2 or 3 years before applying.

So getting good grades and prepping for GMAT is all?
what about extracurricular activities?

Hello! I have just recently joined college confidential today and am still getting the hang of things. I am only an 8th grader, but really want to go to W.P Carey School of Business to become the manager of a huge company. (McDonalds, Coke, Walmart, etc.) I know close to nothing about the world of business and have some questions maybe someone can answer for me? Please, I need some help, advice, and some guidance!;]]

Lol. That pretty much sums up 90% of the posts on this forum. I wonder what percentage of people who post here ever actually wind up getting the work experience and going on to get MBAs? My guess is quite few.

But to answer the original question, another thing you can do is be sure to major in computer science or economics. Those two majors are best for getting into good b schools.
