For the Ivies/top tier schools, I mean. What are good score ranges for SAT II Bio, SAT II Chem, SAT II Math II, SAT II USH, and SAT II French?

I don’t think you really need to take that many SAT IIs, if that’s what you’re doing. Most schools only look for two or three at most… You’d be better off working towards their corresponding AP/IBs, so you can place out of classes or receive credit.

I’d say 700-750 is good and 750+ is great.

So should I bother submitting my 740 in Chemistry if I have two other 750+ scores?

^ Yeah, since there’s really no diff. between 740 and 750+.

I plan to take bio, chem, math II, and one humanities (possibly). I’ll probably scratch the humanities, though. I’ve been doing hardcore bio studying for my test on Oct. 5; one prac test each day for the next 14 days and a rereading of Barron’s.

id say 700-750 is competitive

Would taking bio, chem, math II, and physics look better than dropping physics and taking a humanities? This is assuming that I’ll get 750+ in all of them, which I’m fairly confident I will. It’s the coveted 800 that I just can’t seem to hit.

Agreed with repede: 750+ is your target for ivies
