<p>So I'm pretty nonathletic. I did not do sports during my years of high school. However, I did sports for two seasons at my local YMCA. I was wondering if this would count as a club sport on the Common App? Thanks in advance for answering!</p>
<p>You can possibly phrase it differently if you aren’t comfortable with the “club” label. Not sure what your sport was, but if you did something like play on a volleyball team, you might label it “YMCA Volleyball Team” in the description or something. You can put almost ANYTHING as an EC on the Common App if you spent time on it and considered it a worthwhile activity. Even really unorganized stuff like entomology or monitoring a bluebird trail (my D did both of those and found a way to put them on the Common App last year).</p>
