I saw the Monkees last night in Detroit. These guys (the three that remain) still have voices and can still give a great performance. Half way through, I remembered Peter Tork attended Carleton.

I know he was at Carleton for about 3 years and flunked out. I couldn't find anything where he talks about his 3 years at Carleton....either good or bad. Is there anything out there were he talks about Carleton...other than saying he flunked out?

So far, all I can find is that it was his father’s alma mater (his father later was a professor of economics at UConn) and he was at Carleton for only 2 and 1/3 years.

Just found this from a blog - the blogger’s husband and relatives knew Peter Tork in college and were given backstage passes to a concert in 2013:
“So the five of us were escorted downstairs and into Peter Tork’s dressing room. And so began the Margy, Peter, Peter, Roscoe Carleton reunion. Tales of Margy and Peter and friends singing and talking in the Carleton theatre space long into the night. Peter still has the same banjo he had in college. It was one of those moments where the two Peters and Margy were thrust back in time”.

So I would imagine he does have some good memories of Carleton.
