What did you get on the April ACT?

Yeah, umm… it’s weird.
(I’m the guy that posted on page 7 that I went from a 29 to a 34, and got a 36 science this time.)
I don’t know how I improved so much, because, I swear… I did not do even ONE practice test between February and April..
The ONLY practice I did, was ONE passage (prose fiction) of ONE reading section of ONE test (Kaplan)… that doesn’t seem like it could possibly be enough to raise my Reading score by 7 points, as well as all of my other scores by some other amount… Maybe I just got lucky this time… or very unlucky last time, in February.

Son got a 34
34 English
36 Math
32 Reading
32 Science

C: 31

E:29
M:31
R:33
S:30

I’m really surprised since English is my best subject by far…I thought it was so easy…haha. Will this English score be affected by the essay score?

Im also surprised at the science…it was SO hard.

R- 33
S- 31
I’m still deciding whether or not to take it again to get that math score up; maybe I’ll wait until after I take Math IIC and SAT Math.

s-31 (try to go up 3)

first time, felt bad after test, thought i did badly
was somewhat surprised, will do better, i know i can get a 34
just need to go up by 3 in those areas

shoot for going up at least 7 or eight because you may lose a point or two in reading or english (just in case).. but gj.. esp. for first time

my first time (and 2nd time) i got a 30.. but this past time i got a 34, so whatever happened was pretty awesome

I took the act for the first time in march as a sophomore.

Did anyone else find the math section harder than usual?

I hate all of you! I improve on each section of the test and end up having the same composite! aah! the english is killin me. i got a 24 on it the first two times and just raised it to a 25 I want to get it to at least a 28-29 and my composite would be so much nicer. any test prep books that are extremely helpful on the english?

PR is pretty good

33 c

34 - E
31 - M
32 - R

and wait for it…wait for it…

36 - S…***ff

31 C

34 E
31 M
29 R
32 S

Luckily the college I am most interested in takes the best subscores out of all your tests, so they don’t even look at the composite. I took the test for the first time in Feb, and got a 29. Got 27 English, 26 Math, 33 Science, and 29 Reading. So now I get to keep my Science score of 33.

Ran out of time on the April test for Reading. Probably going to take the test again to see if I can get a 32-34. I wanna get every score in the 30s, and get that Math score up.
