<p>i bet everyone put “texting” as their form of communication; i was about to put that until i realized how texting has affected so many peoples lives.</p>
<p>I put blogging. It drives me insane that people, who often times have no expertise in what they are talking about, get to influence political debate in such a negative way. Also, for those that do know what they are talking about, why don’t they write a Op-ed, where it can be easily reviewed by others, and has the benefit of being in an actual publication, where you don’t get the comments from the blogosphere (I am aware that many newspaper webpages have comment sections, but they are often much more mild than blogs’.)</p>
<p>Gah, no, newspapers actually require someone to sit down and think about what their reading, and it is harder for Billy Bob the high school dropout down the street to get his opinion published as an expert. Also, there is nothing like sitting down and reading a newspaper or news magizine all the way through. It makes you feel like you have accomplished something (I’m a news junkie if you can’t tell.)</p>
<p>The last book I read outside of class was: bright shiny morning by James Frey (If I remember correctly). hope they don’t assume I’m an addict.</p>
