What do Colleges look more at?

<p>Do colleges look more at the unweighted gpa or weighted gpa?</p>

<p>The reason why is because I've been spending too much time on APUSH and APENG and so I've been considering whether or not i should deal with B's in those classes and get an A in AP calc and AP physics.</p>

<p>Most colleges recalculate applicants’ gpas. Typically, this means the colleges throw out grades for nonacademic courses like phys ed, and the colleges provide their own weighting to AP, IB and possibly to honors courses.</p>
