I got accepted to Regent University and Old Dominion University but I'm having a hard time choosing which one to go to. I plan on majoring in Business Administration or Management then to go to law school. I do want a good social environment such as clubs and such. Please give your input!

congratulations, OP! That’s great. Most people around here agree that you should choose a school that has your major and has many of the characteristics that you want but that ultimately it comes down to which school is going to cost you more. This is especially true if you’re planning on law school because you’ll probably be footing the full cost of law school with loans, and it’s not unusual for students to accumulate 150,000 in law school debt.

You might not know the costs of these two schools because they might not have released their financial aid packages yet. So on its face, Regents costs more, but Regents might offer you more FA than ODU. You’ll just have to wait and see. The FA packages should be out by the end of March. Do you have other applications?

First things first, great job!
I suggest you wait for financial aid packages, especially because you want to go to law school in the future.
From what I can tell, Old Dominion looks a lot bigger. This could translate into a more thriving social scene; however, I am not very familiar with either school.
Best of luck to you in the future!

I was going to apply to University of Richmond but I don’t want to anymore since I’d rather stay near home which is in Hampton Roads

Richmond’s kinda small for what you want, 3000 u/gs, as I recall. And lacking in diversity. I’m not sure you would’ve found a thriving social scene there. More like a bunch of drunken frat boys.
