What do I do about my ACT scores?

So I'm going to start this off by saying that I'm an idiot for not realizing this earlier, but my act scores need to be sent to LMU by Nov 1, which is a week from now. I am applying early action and I just realized today that I sent them everything except my test scores. So I sent them today right when I realized it but I read that it could take two weeks for the school to get them.... What can I do?? What will happen if they don't receive the scores in time? I am calling the act center and LMU's admissions on Monday, but can they even do anything? I'm so mad at myself.

Your part of the application is due Nov. 1, supporting documentation can arrive a little bit later. Things take some time to process after Nov. 1, as long as you’ve submitted your request, you should be fine.

Thank you so much I feel a lot better now!

There are deadlines and then there’s the institutional imperative to admit great kids. They aren’t just going to shred/delete your file because your ACT scores might come in 5 days after the posted deadline. Remember this: they WANT TO ADMIT YOU.

Or look at this perspective:

LMU to you: four years of education, exploration, fun and growth.

You to LMU: four years of tuition; cash money.

Good point, thank you!
