okay, so my engish teach warned me and a friend a few months ago abut not giving other people our answers on classwork. I comletly agreed with her and stopped giving some of my other friends help. Well a few days ago we started disscussing poetry and we startedd doing these worksheets called didls. Well the teacher told us we could work in a group so i worked with the friends that always asked me for answers. I knew not to give them my answers but they were confused so i helped them out WITHOUT teling them my answeres. now the teacher has emailed my parents and told them i got a zero for cheating!!! I’ve treid emailing her but it hasnt heped and i even talked to he in person. PLEASE GIVE ME ADVISE BECAUSE I CANT HAVE A ZERRRRO! :((
You need to find out two pieces of information, first: what is your school’s pollicy on collaboration between students (i.e., when does a ‘study group’ become ‘sharing answers’); second: what specific evidence is there of unacceptable collusion between you and your classmates? Did they simply copy down what you said to write? Is it possible their answers resemble yours too closely?
The professor is part of this, but you may also wosh tospeak with your academic advisor and/or your university ombudsman.
I think you are too late. Exams were over on May 6.
The OP’s grade should be able to be changed past the grading deadline if it was given incorrectly.
@OP, have you visited this?

It seems like it should work out if the teacher gave you permission for groupwork
