What do you ask recruiters?

<p>I always have trouble thinking about what to ask a recruiter on campus aside from the very basic ones. Does anyone have tips about what kind of questions help start conversation and don't end up making the whole encounter just kind of awkward?</p>

<p>I suppose I just dont want to say something that might sound offensive or nosy. Is there a line drawn about what is appropriate to ask. (salary, GPA, etc)</p>

<p>Just chit chat with recruiters. Get their business card and then send them an email later on saying it was nice to meet them etc. Ask them about the company in general and the job in particular. Maybe why they like the company, what they do, etc. Usually you ask more serious questions during your interview. Recruiters are more for like a general perspective and usually just help you get an interview.</p>
