So your ultimate purpose is money?

Or if it’s not, why even mention it in a response to a question about your ultimate purpose?

Or if it’s not, why even mention it in a response to a question about your ultimate purpose?

-to be me, stay me
-never hold grudges
-excell in music
-do my best in school
-live live to the fullest :)

because it would be a part of my purpose if i didn’t already have it covered. and because it’s an essential part of philanthropy, which i believe is part of my purpose.

^^what aspect of music?

I just realized trumpet was in your username…so trumpet?

So, if you didn’t have money, your ultimate purpose WOULD BE to have money?

Oh OK, you hadn’t made it clear that your dad makes so much money that you won’t even need to work… That COMPLETELY changes how I feel about you.

You were just saying, “Oh, I’ll make a lot of money, because father makes a lot of money, and of course I can make tons of money. But I’ll only drive an A6, those darned pieces of crap, because I’m so modest.”

Maybe we should just call it a draw, but I’ll put it as plainly as I can. I don’t like your sense of entitlement.

To inspire others using my ambition and insight. I’m a quiet leader and trendsetter, but people steal my ideas and thoughts.

That’s all you had to say. You didn’t have to bring in that you’ll make a lot of money because your dad did. If you say philanthropy, we can assume that you either have or will have money.

I posted this on a different thread to an answer to “What is success?” and because it was relevant, I’m just copying what I wrote there.

well, I want to:

I’m in my church choir :)

That’s an excellent example of a successful writer, and I really admire your mother, but what I was trying to get at was that I’m not sure a stay at home environment is what I’m looking for. I’m not talking about money or success–I know several people, writers and otherwise, who make a very comfortable living from their home–but the environment of a workplace, of getting up and going to work, even if it’s an atypical situation like a foreign correspondent, appeals to me. Of course, we’ll see what happens when those kids come around…

^Okay, sorry if I misinterpreted!

I totally understand the appeal of a workplace…like, IDK what type of writer but working in a newspaper seems very cool with the workplace environment, among other things.

If only I knew.

I thought you were going to help people in need by becoming a psychologist.

That’s a possibility. That doesn’t mean that is my purpose in life though.
