Do you care how much money you'll make, or do you just want to be happy?

rich = happy

eh, I want to marry someone I love and who loves me. But I also don’t want to live on the streets. So, money is always good. I just don’t need to be dripping in it.

also, I don’t want a job just for the money. I want to do what I love! (no idea what that is as of now though…)

No I’m looking to go the hobo route

basically I want enough money that I can live comfortably, relocate to Europe and retire very early (30s-40s).
And I’ve always wanted to buy a castle…

I want to love my job and be happy. Being rich is a plus!

Most important thing for me is to love my job. I don’t think I could ever love a job just for how much money I make, so it’s more about me just being happy, I guess.

I want to be rich, but not uber rich.

Well that would be nice, but of course I can be happy without the money.

But for those that say they want to be happy and not rich - well if you’re rich you can do whatever you want.

Rich =/= happy. Is there some correlation? Maybe, but it is very insignificant. I want to have a job I enjoy, marry someone I love, and most importantly make a difference. I’d rather make 50k a year as a homeless lawyer than making 10 mill a year as a banker.

There is actually a huge correlation: http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/blogs/freakonomics/posts/Hap4-1.jpg

However, I personally don’t really have any aspirations for wealth. Never been into the whole buy a house, raise a family thing.

I’m going to Wharton, but I’m constantly in the process of reevaluating my priorities and money becomes less and less important.

oh well, can’t hurt haha. I’m gonna double up in something more fundamental so that my education isn’t just business oriented.

Well ofcourse money would be almost useless for your own good if you were not happy. Answering title question: Do you want to be rich when you grow up?
Answer: Why not? Being a rich is a bonus, plus, positive etc…

I want to be comfortable, but not necessarily “rich.”

I would prefer to be powerful instead of rich

I dont want to be rich. I want to be filthy ****ing rich.

i don’t want to have to worry too much about financial matters. so decently wealthy, without being too wealthy.

Normal rich, not Donald Trump rich even though that would be fantastic until I get very bored. If you thinking about it, the only thing about being rich that appeals to me is that you get a sense of accomplishment. You know you worked so hard and earned it.

Upper-middle class is my goal, I suppose. I just want enough to travel and not constantly worry about money.

i want to be able to buy vegan food, beyond that if i have access to a laundry facility i am happy =)
