What do you do after AP tests in your classes?

Do chill out and watch movies in your AP classes after testing? Do more work? One AP teacher gives his kids essays at my school which I think is kind of mean. >:/

in most of my science classes,we do labs that we didnt have time to do when we were prepping. in my history ones, we watched movies (plus, in my APUSH class we helped run a Model UN day for the freshmen which took a few weeks to plan), in english, we just burned through more books.

The seniors graduate, the juniors and handful of sophomores just chill (i. e., skip or watch movies). I think we had to do one final “What I learned in this class” essay, and it was pretty random. :)

haha, wish I could skip but my school has a policy where if you have some number of absences, you automatically fail the class regardless of your standing in it.

We watched a bunch of Flip This House episodes

Chem: labs and demos
French: continue as normal without homework
APUSH: my well-connected teacher brings in tons of famous speakers

Haven’t been in any other AP classes.

Eng Lang: my teacher made us do a final presentation on a topic of interest to us, and that was it.

Chem: lots of random labs we never had time to do before, and my teacher would pick chapters she thought we would like & let us work from them.

AP World: worked on 20 sheet (handwritten) study guide over entire year, which let me take our 15%worth-final that was 5 questions long. I got a 100, so my final grade in that class was an A. Plus, I didn’t go to school at all the last week except the final day to take it.

This year, my AP French teacher said the test is enough, and our final will be a collage of random stuff in English. Which amounts to AN EASY 100. woo

Not sure for my other classes. My AP Lang teacher will probably let us chill, but I doubt my APES or APUSH will do anything nice.

Physics: Played cards most of the time, watched a few movies, though each person did a short presentation on a real-world application of physics

Euro: We watched historical movies and compared them to the real events (Lawrence of Arabia, Battle of Britain)

Calc: Did coloring and fun stuff for a couple of weeks and reviewed for the final

French: Decorated the room and watched movies (and kinda re-read Le Petit Prince with the French 3 Honors kids)

two years ago for apworld: we watched mulan. twice. :)

I’m beginning to hate my AP World teacher… He continues to assign reading supplementary readings, essays, and crams in a “current events” unit for fun. I would be okay with the additional unit and all, but there are section quizzes, chapter tests, and cumulative essays to go along with the new unit. My favorites :(

On the bright side, we just party and chat in AP Comp Science…and same with Micro :)
