What do you do after grad school?

So it's obvious what people do after professional schools but what do people usually do after going to graduate school? Do people just go into teaching or something after they graduate or are there other careers that people pursue? I'm specifically interested in science-related grad school stories but other subjects would be interesting too.

Sorry, I'm not to familiar with grad schools because I don't know anyone who's gone to one. Thank you.

Research, development, etc.

Whatever you make of your life :)

There are so many options for Phd graduates in the biomedical sciences including patent law, scientific consulting, public health, government research, academic research, pharmaceutical/drug development, regulatory oversight, scientific writing. I am a part of a group called Alternative Careers in Science which is dedicated to sharing info about all career paths that are considered “non traditional”, that is non academic research careers. Your university likely has a group like this too.
