AP Stat - Nothing
AP World - Forced to watch incredibly boring movies
AP Psych - Project on serial killers

In Stats we have a ‘project’ where we have to conduct a survey and use it to test a statistic found on the internet. We do that until the seniors leave, and then our teacher is probably gonna just teach us some fun stuff.

Biology AP - Cat dissection. Lots of quizzes, practicals, and projects, which is rather frustrating. The teacher has been playing Disney/Pixar films every Friday, though. I don’t know, I’d rather watch Nat Geo or Discovery instead of mutilating a cat soaked in formaldehyde.

Art 2-D AP - Working on two projects that will eventually be our semester final grade and be two pieces in the Drawing portfolio (for Juniors who will take that class as Seniors). Self-portrait and still life. Boring and tedious.

**American Studies/b - Working on a project of Tim O’Brien’s “The Things They Carried.” All the other English classes read it before the AP exam, but we’re doing the unit after it. We have a major group project (gross).

French AP - Finally, the only class where I don’t have an overbearing workload. We’re reading a play by Eug

Bringing back a dead thread… What are people doing after their test in their classes I wonder? I’m expecting my AP Lit teach to give us one more reading assignment.

In AP Econ, we’re going to talk about day-trading and the stock market. Can’t wait! It’s going to be awesome. :)

Last year:
AP Psych: Watched movies in class, had to conduct our own social experiment and present the results for the final.
AP Calc: Basically played the Wii or cards. Our final was to give a presentation saying our favorite number and favorite function, the reasons we picked them and the history behind them.

This year:
AP Spanish: She told us that we’ll just be working on an artist-based project as our final.
AP English Lit: “Movie review”
AP Econ: We’ll see.

Chem: Just chill out, do some labs, that’s it though.

My other two AP tests are the last two days of school for me, so they’re done once I finish the tests.

9th:
Calc AB: Very relaxed - We watched a bunch of Star Wars movies and did a mini-project (if you can call it that) in which we did various things with TI-92s and presented them to the class.

10th:
World: Absolutely massive research project worth two-thirds of our grade. EXTREMELY time-consuming and resulted in many, many hours of lost sleep, even more so than studying for the AP exam. This is painful to even think about.
Stats: Absolutely massive project worth 400 points (~40% of our grade). Fortunately, unlike the AP World project, which was both difficult and time-consuming, this was only time-consuming.

11th:
Psych: Various things - We just made posters each explaining a Psych term and will be doing some personal finance unit thing that the school district requires us to do. Then, we’ll watch movies and have a (hopefully not absolutely massive) final project in which I think we’ll have to diagnose someone.
CompSci: Hopefully relaxed - If we get a final project, at least we’ll have plenty of time in-class to work on it, unlike LAST YEAR!!!
Lang: Highest workload, as expected. We have to write a personal narrative essay, read The Great Gatsby, and write an essay about that, which will be fun (not).
Bio: Fairly relaxed - We dissect a mink and then have a practical relating to it.

AP lit we’re reading one more book, Chem we are actually part of a dual enrollment thing with an instate college so we actually have more work to do…and in calc absolutely nothing

last year:
ap lang: macbeth… there had to be more but i don’t remember
apush: everyone chose two colleges they were interested in and presented ppts to the class. we also read articles about the college phenomenon and discussed them
ap chem: qualitative cation and anion analysis and independent study essay with 15 minute presentation

this year:
i don’t have to attend any classes because i’m doing senior service, but:
ap lit: i think they’re just watching movies of books we’ve read
ap euro: probably just movies
ap bio: dissecting a lot of things

10th: Gov: I don’t remember
Comp Sci: Computer Games
Calc AB: Started some Calc BC stuff
This year (some are just what i know will happen from the teachers)
Eng: catch-22 and final presentation
Physics: Magic Cards
World: “Culminating Activity”–no one knows what it is
Chem: Nothing. AP Pilot test, and then nothing
Calc: Movies. Lots of movies. And good movies, like Vantage Point. We’re gonna be his aides later when he has to do textbooks and stuff, but for now its movies.

Last Year:

AP Euro- Played the Diplomacy board game, watched 2 movies

This Year:

AP US- presentation on influencial American
AP Lang & Comp- dunno, probably watch more Colbert Report or another movie (fun teacher)
AP Stats- teacher is crazy (and awesome), not a clue, watch some movies or do a project
AP World- play Age of Empires 2 (yea!)

We watch movies :)

APUSH: movies, cereal day (we all bring cereal and my teacher is going to bring milk and bowls), and board games
AP Chem: tie-dying goggles, making ice cream and smores, watching Disney movies, painting ceiling tiles
AP English: watching boring “educational” movies (boooo)

Just found out that today in AP Lit: we got to choose any book and do a book report for the last 2 weeks. should be pretty relaxing.

Psych - nothing, took it last semester
US Hist - project
English Lang - movie & test over movie

US history - movies, maybe a project
Bio - movies, dissect a cat
Lang - finish Huck Finn, nothing really changes
Calc - after the seniors leave in 3 weeks, my teacher will help prep the one other junior and me for BC next year

We still have a whole month of school left after exams, with state tests in the following two weeks the only real “challenge” if they could be called that. Lots of time to just sit around and play cards…

In chem, we just play Xbox or watch movies or do fun labs (like making ice cream) for a two week rest period. Then we will start our 1 month qualitative analysis lab.

In econ, my teacher said we’ll just watch a few movies and learn consumer economics.

Not sure about English.

I hope my AP Chem class for next year would be fun lol.

we played kick ball lololol
