I am applying to uc Berkeley, ucsd, ucla, university of San Francisco, and cap poly Pomona. I have 4.0 gpa I did wrestling for three years and track for one, I am president of the academic decathlon, an officer for the club interact. I received a 1750 on the sat and a 25 on act. I just took the sat 2. I plan on taking the sat again.

What is your UC-weighted GPA? Your test scores are low for UCSD, UCLA, and UCB, but if you qualify under “local context” by ranking within your school’s top 9%, you might have an outside chance. I think you have excellent chances at UC Riverside, and probably at UCSC. If the 4.0 is your UC-weighted GPA, and you are not in your school’s top percentiles, then you probably don’t have a strong chance at the top-tier UCs. They all publish statistics, or “Common Data Sets,” for their admitted students. Your school’s college counselor should also have statistics on admissions to the UCs for recent graduates.

My uc weighted gpa is 4.07. I’m about number 45 out of about 800 students.

So yes I’m top 9%

UCLA/UCB/UCSD: Reach
SFSU/CPP: Safety

You should consider UCSC and possibly UCI.

You should apply more widely than this - apply to two-three more UCs.
There’s too wide a gap between your reaches and your safety, you need 3-4 more match schools.
