Studious does NAWT look Asian in his profile pikk guise. OMG I mean c’mon.

I didn’t think I did either. Maybe when it’s smaller on the screen.

So alwaysleah friended you and never stalked you? That’s exemplary self-restraint. When I befriend someone, I pore over their pages.

THE LIGHTING MAKES HIS SKIN LOOK YELLOW GUIZE.

Yeah idk I must’ve been busy or something. I think I was at work.

Haha, I do the same thing. :)

But Asians don’t actually have legit yellow skin.

@Rusty84

I agree with all you wrote, except this: “Would literally die if he/she had to take a legit AP like physics or chem or calc”.

Can we stop equating intelligence to skill in math and science? It IS possible to be an intelligent student without taking your “legit” APs.

I guess I have sort of olive skin. But Greco-Roman-looking.

Way to toot your own horn. I’ve given up on my self-imposed posting ban. Who cares if I’m the top poster on HSL by far? Pshaw, I’m so over that.

Toot my own horn? I was using a descriptor. Are the Romans and Greeks renowned as being extremely good-looking or something? If I said god-like or model-esque, then I’d be tooting my own horn. But referring to a race of people isn’t bragging at all.

Nah. I was thinking of Ancient Roman/Greek-esque gods. Or other extremely good-looking guys from that general time period, like Adonis. (He was from that myth with Aphrodite, right?) Heh.

U.S. History is one of the EASY APs? Either you’re smoking something or it’s just different at my school because it’s absolute HELL for everyone in it.

Yeah, APUSH is considered one of the harder APs. For me, it will probably be the hardest (I excel in math/science, but history is the bane of my existence.).

Basically, summed up all my thoughts–when I first read OP’s post…

Anyone who goes around showing off and being a stuck up annoys me. Even if you have a 2400 sat (this is certainly admirable).

I like this comment! while intelligence might be more concentrated in the “legit” AP classes there are super smart people - people that would even excel at the legit Aps - which don’t take them. i’ve seen a number of them myself!

I wasn’t trying to insinuate that people who take math/science AP’s are automatically smart (my own AP Chem class would disprove this, ha), nor that anyone who doesn’t is automatically stupid. I was simply saying that the people of whom I am speaking, the soulless grinders, can not handle the more difficult AP’s (it’s simply a fact that, objectively speaking, AP Physics/Chem is flat out more difficult for the average high schooler than AP Lang or something like that).

The grinders are scared off by the more inaccessible, ungrindable AP’s like physics, there’s really no disputing this.

and you’re scared off by the grindable APs, so everyone is scared of somethin’. is that how it goes?

^ What? I’m not scared off by the grindable AP’s. In addition to my more difficult ones like Chem, Physics C, and Calc, I’ve done/will have done Human Geo, Psych, Lang, what have you.

Well, the more the merrier!
