Two questions here. Is science research considered a good EC? I've done 400+ hours of research at places like Rice University and Methodist Hospital (top ranked hospital by US News). I've also won multiple prizes.

Second question: I've started a History Club where we do "history research". Basically we look through resources and right theories on topics. Does this tie in well to research being my main EC?

Thanks for any help.

any help appreciated. if you don’t wanna answer everything please at least tell me: do you consider science research a worthy EC?

It’s better if you can publish the work because then you will be differ than others as u have name on certain scientific journals. Thats the way if you want to impress the admission committee. I have done research in high school as well, but the point is if u can get your work publish. Good luck.

Please answer mine, im confused right now…

^ You didn’t answer his question and are trying to cop an answer for one of your threads…lol…

@OP Yes science research is considered a good EC especially when you’ve accrued as much as 400+ hours at a major university and hospital. And yes History Club counts too

definitely. both of them count as research EC’s

Thanks guys just wasn’t too sure of myself. And yea i’m considering publishing but I’ll have to talk to my mentor first.

Both ECs.

Publishing is good. Multiple prizes are also good.

Any Major Research Awards – that would be REALLY Good.
