Geneseo is an amazing school. First class faculty (my advisor is a Harvard grad.), tons of opportunity for research. The town is small but charming, rich in history. I’m sad to be leaving, having graduated, but happy to be debt free with a world class education and headed for an ivy league grad program.

i second geneseo it’s best suny.

Hey does anyone know if SUNY Binghamton has an undergraduate education major, I can’t find any info on the website

No, they don’t have an undergrad education major but they do have somewhat of a pre-education program that should fulfill requirements for most grad school programs (like their own).

Also, I just saw this:

I don’t know WHERE you found that but it’s so incorrect. If anything, it’d be 1390 out of 1600.

eta: Geneseo’s class of 2014 has an average SAT of 1340 and average ACT of 29.
Binghamton’s class of 2014’s mid-ranges are 1180-1340 and 26-30.

Too bad Geneseo has been removed from your list…it is a great school!

Yes I apologize, Rebeccar. I didn’t mean it as a way to prove anyone wrong. I found it on a reliable website but it’s the statistics from 2006. For all the other schools I have been looking at, the statistics are accurate. Apparently the website I used only gets info from SUNYs every so often.
