Hey everyone, just want to get your opinion on something.
i'm a student at USC (fight on! good job leinart on the hiesman this year!). several times this year i had a question about some of the classes that im taking but couldn't get a hold of the teacher (too late in the evening) and couldn't answer the question myself. so, i got this idea a few weeks ago..
i'm thinking of opening a website (bsically a messageboard) where people can do a number of things, mainly:
1) buy/sell books/electronics/etc
2) discuss classes, give advice and post their notes

it will be for USC students only. in my head, it's a good idea as it can be a small community. also, i am a business major so i figure that could look good on my resume.

what do you guys think?

Both of those types of sites already exist for SC students.

what are the URLs for them?
id like to check them out as i couldn't find them..

As for reviewing professors/classes, there is the student senate guide and the course evalutations that the University has us fill out: http://www.senatecourseguide.com/ and https://www.usc.edu/academics/course-eval/

As far as book exchange, one is run through student senate: http://senate.usc.edu/bookexchange.html

As far as posting notes to classes online, there was a site for that my freshman year, but then that site was shut down by the university and the creator of the site thrown out of school. Apparently, it violates the plagiarism code of conduct or something to post other students notes.

Oh! and I forgot that there is a group on facebook that sells used books, and most SC students sell their crap like elctronics or tickets or whatever through Facebook too.
