What do you think

I got into the Boston College Honors Program Early Action and now after applying to some other schools I’m going to be going to either Cornell or BC. I’m in Arts and Sciences at both and I’m thinking about majoring in Economics and maybe Poly Sci too. I want to go to a business grad school and I know that where I’m working for a year or two after school will be large part of where I get in. I live less than an hour south of Boston and want to eventually work in Boston although I wouldn’t be against working in NYC for a few years if I had the opporutnity for a good job. I know BC has the best connections in Boston but if I went Cornell to a top grad school I’m sure I’d be fine if not better off.

I didn’t get much response on the Cornell board but wondering if anyone here has any insight for me. I’m visiting Cornell this weekend so that should help me, but I like the BC campus and area a lot too. And I don’t think it’s as easy as saying Cornell’s an ivy so go there.

Thanks in advance.

I considered cornell, and also got into BC CSOM early, annnd am majoring econ....i honestly dont think it matters all that much between the two. As i have been told, work hard at either and you will come out at similar places...i decided to not cornell b/c i did not like its campus...i dunno i just gor really bad vibes there...i also have read that there is alot of drinking, and only drinking..nothing else to do at all. Those thingas probably cemented it for me! Its a tough choice but hey look at the bright side, either way you will come out with a real solid education (as long as you push yourself) and you'll be poised for some good job oppurtunities.
