What do you use to research colleges?

I used
collegeboard.com - for stats
wikipedia.com - for history or scandals
students review - students write reviews of colleges
collegedirt - polls on differant aspects
college confidential - duh!
and the school website

Any other good sources?

Google and Yahoo!Answers. =) Actually, it sounds like you have it pretty much covered on all bases.

I use the Princeton Review website, just because their rankings and lists make me laugh.

It's called US News and World. Print out the list, aim at the top, and throw darts.

What about collegepr0wler? I've heard that mentioned on these boards pretty often...

I use this site, CollegeBoard, and what comes in the mail. This site is the best source. Really.

I use Naviance the most.

It's a program that our school has that you can see where people in our school have applied/been accepted based on SAT scores, GPA etc.

Plus, it's college search is practically amazing lol

Yeah, my school uses Naviance too

For basic info I just use the school's site and CollegeBoard. If I become interested enough, I'll take a peak at their Wikipedia entry and what's buzzing about them on the forums here. Usually I can find all that I need on the school's site though. Randomly googling the school's name often brings up some interesting news, though it's a lot to dig through.
