<p>My dads a CLO/board member of our family company and my mom doesn’t work</p>
<p>Wow, almost all of you guys have parent’s who have very very good jobs.
80%- Very good jobs
15%- Working class (maybe blue collar)- My parent’s are in this group
5%- Retired, disabled, etc…</p>

Mom: stay at home mom, but went to med school so she could be a doctor</p>
<p>This thread is proof that the more education a kid’s parents have, the better they do in school.</p>
<p>@beachlover15, I don’t think that’s necessarily true. My day owns a gift shop (You can guess he doesn’t make much), and I know, for a fact, that I can and am doing better than a lot of kids who are rich. It comes down to sheer will, determination, and wanting a better life. You can also throw in a lot of other factors, but I think those are the crucial factors in a person’s desire to do well in school, and education as a whole.</p>
