Hi.
I’m sorta new in the college applicant thing (I’m a 9th grader) so please brush off how simple this question sounds.
I read a lot of posts and the word “deferred” comes up a lot. Does it mean you’re basically rejected and have no hope or something like that? Or is it a good thing?
Deferred: the college admissions will reconsider your application in the regular decision round. (e.g. in Yale if you are deferred, you have about 6% of chances to be admitted in RD)
