Psshhhh- piece o' cake! But I say you will. Heck, you'll probably get at least 300 the day before decisions come out! :p

haha, too bad i'll be in Orlando that day

...but will you be near a computer?

no!! it's a choir trip, i'll be at waterparks and music festivals!

and i know i won't be able to wait til i get home, i'll have my parents open them and tell me over the phone...it just sucks that i won't get to find out myself

You'll have to go to an internet cafe or something! I can't get throught this without you, blu! :o

awww i know, i'll be struggling with you guys too...i mean...who can even enjoy waterparks and hot choirboys when acceptances/rejections are hanging over their head lol

Hehehe... I bet you can. ;)

hee but how?!?! it'll be like this huge anticlimactic cliffhanger! I so want to know about me, but I really want to see what happens to all you guys!

oh but yeah, this thread originally had a topic...a few friends of mine that are juniors got really "mad" at me for having Dartmouth as my first choice. "Renee! You're so SELFISH!" one cried. "You expect us to spend tons of money on gas for the road trips we're going to have to take?! Why couldn't you have gone to TCNJ, huh?"

I love how they have NO DOUBT AT ALL WHATSOEVER that I'm going to get in! When I myself would be very surprised if I did.

lol...on this thread we were talking earlier about not buying Dartmouth gear for anti-jinx purposes...but we could theoretically pick out gear for each OTHER...

lol we certainly could... :)

and blu- I will definitely IM you with CC updates... so don't worry about missing anything!

aw. you're too good to me. i'm so glad, though! i won't have to find out three days later what happened to everyone, and by then it'll all be over, and for those who didn't get rejected i'll be reopening hypothetical wounds, so yay! I can have my Orlando cake and eat the CC topping too!

i know, everyone around me is very positive about me applying to Dartmouth. I had one kid tell me today "i'm sure you'll get in". i was like WHYYYYYY, do not do that!! seriously, the kid has no idea of my stats in any way shape or form, he was just talking, but it scared me. hee.

dan-- i'm sad-- do you not care that I will be around?

Of COURSE I care! (eek- I hate posting myself into proverbial online corners)

Baby- are you not going to be here either? B/c I would totally IM you, too (on your cell). :D

I love you all!

hahaha. i hate it, when people are like "You'll get in, don't worry.", so CERTAIN about it. Like, who are they to say that?! they are NOT adcoms, at all! I know it's just meant to be reassurance, but please!

dan-- i shall be around, it just made me sad that you didn't care. i'm better now. :)

yeah, blu-- it's nice of them, but wayyy presumptive!

I dunno, I kinda like it... it's nice to hear that someone thinks it.

For example, I have been told by people on CC tell me that I'm going to get into Dartmouth, but my twin brother is always like "Why did you even apply there? You know you're not getting in..." or "You won't be sad in April when you don't get in, because you already knew that, right?"

...he's so mean... :(

he's sad about Georgetown, don't be mean to him!

oh, i had no idea you were a twin. did you do the twin thing and apply to all the same schools for the discount, or are you totally different people applying to totally different schools? (i know many sets of twins of both persuasions lol)

it's slightly reassuring...but it'd be better if this were coming from an adcom lol

Discount? What discount? Like, a 2 for 1 special or something? lol

Oh, and the only places where we both applied are: (some various UCs) and Penn.

no, there really is a 2 for 1! some fin aid offices told some twins i know that if one gets in, the other has a better chance of getting in, and then that if one pays, the other gets free tuition. (this may also have to do with the fact that their father is a clergyman though). meanwhile, the first one will try to get a bunch of scholarships, so...

Wow I used to love Penn so much...I just remembered, how obsessed I was with it, and how quickly that changed lol
