I applied for a scholarship (fingers crossed that I get it) that requires applicants to “maintain at least a 3.0 GPA for all schools attended or attending.” Does this mean that my semester GPA (2nd semester senior year…bad time to drop the ball but I’ve certainly dropped it) cannot fall below a 3 in order for me to remain eligible? Or does it mean that my cumulative GPA cannot fall below a 3?
Is it a scholarship from the college or for multiple years? Usually, it mean to retain the scholarship from year to year, your gpa has to be at least 3.0. average, not for each term. Most review it once a year.
Is this for college? Usually it means that you have to maintain that GPA in college to maintain that scholarship.
If it means that you have to maintain that GPA in HS, you might not get the award.
It’s usually the cum GPA.
It’s a private scholarship for college and it’s for multiple years; I’m currently a high school senior. Thanks for the help! My cumulative definitely won’t fall below 3, it’s only my semester GPA i’m worried about.
Um, they’re referring to your college GPA, not your HS GPA.
