Today, I received an email saying the exact same thing.
Nah, the first paragraph’s the same, but it changes. Haven’t watched the video yet, but nothing mentioning the Eater Nation was in my letter. Question is why would some of us get both a letter and an email with similar messages? It seems painfully redundant in my opinion. If it didn’t mean anything then why not just save paper and send everyone an email only?
And I wish they would have changed months to weeks because I don’t plan on holding out until my graduation for a response OTL
@sebethpin That’s a good point; i guess when admissions decisions come out, we’ll see if it meant anything or not. However, until then, im going to try not to get my hopes up as it probably doesn’t mean much.
@DPattt yeah, as much as I want to go to Irvine, we should just wait and see. Whether or not it means anything, all i want is a place in the entering class orz

Oh yeah, I read that as well. It’s strange that some people wouldn’t even receive an email.
I know right? I would have thought that everyone would have received the email, but I guess not. Roughly a week until decisions start rolling out if we go by last year. Spring Break should be interesting an interesting time indeed //shot
I hope it doesnt indicate admissions descisions, but some UCs do send out likely letters… UCI is my dream school !!
Called admissions office. They don’t know such a letter and they don’t want to comment on the nature of such a letter since they don’t want to disappoint applicants.

If anybody received the letter, make sure to post your admission decision here so that we can determine if there is any correlation between receiving the letter and getting accepted to the university.
