What does this mean?!

When I logged on to look at my Application Status on the Agora/BC website, it wouldn’t tell me if my application materials had been recieved, but it gave me three choices.

"If you have not previously submitted your Enrollment Confirmation and Housing Guarantee fees, please click here to do so.

If you would like to withdraw your admission, please submit the Admission Withdrawal Form.

If you would like to postpone your enrollment, please submit the Admission Deferment Request."

I called the Admissions Office and they didnt really tell me anything. What do you think it means?

If I recall correctly, some admitted EA students got that for a couple of hours in December.

I'm not sure, but I think everyone who got it got in, but if you didn't get it, that didn't mean you were denied.

It's supposed to change with that a couple weeks after acceptance letters arrive...

Again, I'm not positive, but you could probably look at the 5 billion page thread from December about it.

I also got this message when i logged into agora

"Room Selection Application through Agora Now Available:The Residential Life Office has decided to push their schedule back a day to accommodate students that may have had an issue."

and just wanted to know if this signified anything? Haha, I'm assuming every applicant got this, but asking wouldn't hurt.

That's on the main agora page, not the app status page...the other message is at the top of the app status page. I think it was jorr08 who was one of the ones to get it, then it disappeared a couple hours later.

oh okay thanks for the info!

it could mean something, but it could mean nothing too.

i would try not to think too much about anything like that because for EA decisions everyone had some new links and i didnt have them so i started freaking out and i ended up getting in anyway...not sure if all the people who had them got in or not too but just sayin...good luck tho

I don't have it :(

kroogle you're giving me hope here!

I'll repeat:

-This happened in December, they were there for a couple hours for the people who got them.
-People who had the links got in, I don't recall a single deferral or rejection from the kids that got them. (this may or may not be true right now, also look back at the thread)
-Many people who got in did not get the links.

Their presence is good sign that should make you happy because it's probably good, absence of the links is nothing to worry about.

In all likelihood if you hit View -> Source in your web browser and look for the below line, it will say:

<input name="DisplayAcceptView" type="hidden" value="**"False"**/">

and if you have the links:

<input name="DisplayAcceptView" type="hidden" value="**"True"**">

Yeah, I got in EA but never saw the links early, so if you aren't seeing the links, DON'T WORRY!!!

For EA they appeared only for a few hours and if you didn't happen to be checking then, you didn't catch them...I think it was part of an update...I didn't see mine but I think it is only cuz I wasn't on at that time...I would def. take it as good tho...pretty clear. BC rocks.

The links have gone away.....

:(

Again, Jorr08 only had the links for a couple of hours (and he got in EA), I dismiss the links as a mistake :)

i got my acceptance letter today, so i would say that the links were definetly a good sign, a guarantee? no, but a good sign nonetheless

if it says "true" you got in and "false" you were waitlisted/denied? or it just means if the links are there or not?

It is pretty clear by now. If your app status page says

then you are almost certainly in. If it just lists the materials they have received and when they have received them, then you may have been rejected or waitlisted, though there seem to have been a small number of people who were missing that message and still got accepted.
