Did I get into BC? [Agora Question]

So I logged onto Agora on a whim. I’m a transfer applicant, by the way.

I go check my applicant info and see this:

<quote>
If you have not previously submitted your non-refundable Enrollment Confirmation and Housing Guarantee fees, please click here to do so.</quote>

If you would like to withdraw your admission, please submit the Admission Withdrawal Form.

If you would like to postpone your enrollment, please submit the Admission Deferment Request.

<end quote=""></end>

…Does this mean I probably got in?

I’m in the same boat, no letter or envelope in the mail yet but I also checked and got the same result… So I’m guessing we did, keeping my fingers crossed till I get something in the mail though. But as far as I know yes, we are in…

Needless to say it’d suck tremendously to get a rejection after seeing those options on the Agora. Maybe if they did reject us we can guilt them into letting us in =P

So the same thing happened to me last week ( I applied as an incoming freshman, originally waitlisted)

On thursday, I saw that option on the agora website. It got me pretty excited, but I was still oblivious to what it meant.

The next day, I got the famed Financial Aid Award Tab, which only accepted people receive (from what I know)

and the next day I received my acceptance letter!

So, from what I know, I’d think you might be in lucky…but thats not definite

Good luck to everyone!!

I’m a transfer applicant too and I started seeing the same thing this afternoon, too. I don’t want to give you guys false hopes, but I was admitted over the phone on May 1st because of conflicting enrollment deadlines. I’m not positive, but I’d say that seeing the enrollment information should be a pretty solid indicator of admission. Good luck and congratulations!

Anthony, we talked before via PM, right? I’m glad to hear you’ve gotten in BC, have you decided you’ll go there?

This is so annoyingly tantalizing.

I believe we have, sethosayher. I don’t think I’ll be enrolling, though, due to some serious complications with financial aid. They acknowledged the amount of aid I need (which is certainly a lot) but can’t package me an award due to paper work my mom and I simply aren’t able to provide (not like the FAFSA or CSS or something… more specific to my situation). It’s an incredibly irritating, complicated, and ridiculous situation to be in that was not at all an issue for the other 20 schools I’ve now sent financial aid applications to in my life time, but BC was really arrogant about the situation. It was really, really disappointing. I don’t expect things to change but we’ll see what happens.

If anybody has had success overcoming some kind of obstacle with this office and you want to share some advice with me I would love the PM.

I don’t have that but I do have an explosion of tabs? Like ‘Eagle Card Activity Summary’ and ‘MyFiles@BC’… The application menu with application and financial aid tabs is like, well, gone??

Freakyy. I got in last with with the extra tabs, not this stuff!

My daughter got the same message as Sethosayher received online yesterday and received an acceptance letter in the mail this morning.

ok now i have the acceptance page - yeh!! is the acceptance rate really sub 10%?

I have yet to see anyone post that saw these options and got rejected. I’ll take that as a good sign, though I wish I got my letter so I could be sure.

I applied for regular decision…when I got in those were the exact words that were wriitten on my agora accounbt

I got in.

giggles uncontrollably

sethosayher… did you get your letter in the mail?? I have the same options on my agora page so I’m assuming that I did get in, but want to make sure… I have still to receive anything in the mail…

Yes, I got a packet in the mail with my admissions decision.

They sent out the decisions on Tuesday, 1st class, so you should be getting it by tomorrow or next week.

Awesome thanks, and congrats as well

Hey congrats to those who got in. So I just logged in and i have the same options under application status as you all who got in, and i also have a financial aid award notifications tab, but when i click it it says there is no award notification to view. and i don’t have the change/update email tab. any clue what this means?

got letter today :)
