What does this MEAN?!

I thought I would be able to gauge what my chances at other colleges would be by what the early admissions decisions were, but so far I've recieved two acceptance letters (USC and Morehouse), both offering significant scholarships, a rejection from Berkeley, and a waitlist from Stanford. What does this mean? It's driving me crazy trying to understand what's going on here. Someone please help me understand before I go insane!

It means you got into two schools that are offering you money. Congratulations!

Really though, what are you trying to understand?

Stanford, Berkeley are top schools. You cannot predict your chances of getting in, period. You had a shot, and sorry, looks like it didn't work out the way you'd like.
You have two schools offering you money. Chill. Just work on getting yourself excited to go to one of those 2.

It means exactly what you understood the process to mean last summer. You'd apply to some dream schools and there was a great possibility that some would reject you. The reasons behind those decisions would be forever unknown to you. But you're probably a top student and something good would come your way regardless.

Well now it's March and voila! There you go! Congratulations! You've made your family very proud and you should bask in the glory of your real achievements. Not too many people can hold a candle to what you've ALREADY accomplished. Don't scratch your head wondering "what if?" and "Why not?".

You're going "insane" over this? How about the 30% of the world population that doesn't have clean drinking water for their children. Don't give in to the feeling of entitlement.

One percent of the entire human population every attends college. You get to go to one which most likely will leave you debt free and a solid & presitigious diploma in your hands in 4-5 years. Feel blessed. You are.

It means you can quit thinking about Berkeley and Stanford and instead focus on choosing between Morehouse and USC. Why should there be any deeper meaning? Like nearly all applicants you applied to several schools, got into some and not others, and now you get to choose. That's the way the process is supposed to work. Congratulations on your success.
