I log in to Wolverine Access and click application status and it says "view decision"

then it says "A decision will be arriving in the mail."

Does this mean I'm deferred or rejected?

Probably deferred; that was last year's result when "a decision was arriving in the mail".

I haven't heard about anyone getting a view decision and being deferred. I think it means you are accepted or rejected.

what are your stats, microblaster? maybe based on your stats we can tell if it's a rejection or deferral (or possibly acceptance - about 2% of the time, the view decision thing says you'll be receiving a decision by mail, and it ends up being an acceptance letter)

yea stats would help

But doesn't they always send the results by mail? Why are they making that quote show up for someone deferred/rejected??

micro, is there a "7th semester grades -- notified" box in view credentials? if so then it's a deferral

aside from that i have no idea, sorry man.

ryong89 -- if you got accepted, then they say in the 'view decision' box stuff like congratulations, you're in, yadda yadda, along with receiving the acceptance letter in the mail, but if it specifically states just that the decision will be in the mail, then that has usually meant deferral (i'm not sure if umich rejects ER students)
