Okay, so I setup my official 2012 AP study schedule last week...here is what it looks like:

Monday - Saturday Review Readings (all except Biology[for which I use Barron's] will utilize the 5 steps to a 5 series):

AP Biology ................................. 16 pages/day
AP Psychology ........................... 11 pages/day
AP Calculus AB ........................... 15 pages/day
AP English Lit ............................. 6 pages/day
AP Spanish ................................ 7 pages/day
AP Economics (micro & macro) ...... 8 pages/day

AP U.S. Government .................... 6 pages/day

TOTAL ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 69 pages/day

A little crazy, but about 5 hours a night for me. I try to "fake lecture" a little about all subjects except Spanish and Literature. Any other schedules out there? I'd love to see!

I'm self-studying a few of these, and I took Biology last year as well.

Nothing formal. I just kinda pick up the books whenever I don’t have much homework. But I’m a slacker.

I have about 4 chapters left in Cliffs bio and about 200 pages left in Barron’s world history so I’m not too stressed but would like to go through cliffs cover to cover once more.

I just do one book at a time so I can keep everything straight. And 69 pages a day is not a whole lot(though if they’re school days…)

My schedule:
Statistics-Have a class, don’t need to study(my teacher’s mandatory taking of FOUR practice tests notwithstanding)
English Lit-Relying on class; not sure how one would “study”
US Gov-Have a class, will rely on common knowledge and a cram packet/skimming a pep book
Comp Gov-Don’t feel like rereading the prep book, I’m reviewing “cram packets” and I may look stuff up on wikipedia
Macro-Had a class, will cram graphs days before test
Micro-See above
APES-relying on class
French-relying on class
Comp Sci-Prep book+(maybe)Stanford lectures+CS club
Psych-Prep book/cram packets(a friend loaned me a textbook, but I don’t have time/willingness to read it)

Today’s the last day of spring break for me, and I spent much of it (re)reading the prep books and cram packets.

Occasionally opens book. Nbd

I am sooo nervous for the AP Exams. Ah!! hahaha. Anyways:

AP English Literature - I am doing released exam tests to see what my weak points are and i always go over my answers. I suck at poetry, so that is what i mainly focus on. I am doing each timed write - a Poetry, Prose, and Open-Ended Question - because my teacher said he will grade them on the spot. I am mostly worried about poetry, again!

AP English Language - I am re-taking this one from last year because i got a 2, thinking i got a 3 or 4 :(. I was about to pay for it, but i got a scholarship from my teacher so i wouldn’t have to pay for anything, so i was very grateful. I am, also, doing multiple choice questions and have been doing timed writes during the entire school year, so i feel a lot more confident about this test now. Plus, i sucked at last years’ test; i HATED the synthesis.

AP Calculus AB - I NEED to pass this one, so i have been practicing FRQ’s and many multiple choice questions since Feb or early Mar. I have been seeing a constant trend on the FRQ’s and i feel really confident on those. But the 2011 FRQ’s have been on the harder side, but if the frq’s turn out to be hard this year too, at least i will have extra practice. My Calc class, next week, is going to start reviewing, so i am going to tell my teacher if she can help me on some FRQ’s or multiple choice questions that i just don’t get.

AP U.S. Government - To tell you the truth, the only thing i have been using for review is the Crash Course. It is Amazing!!! I know i should not get too cocky, that is why i will also be doing some multiple choice questions so i can get more practice with the harder questions. I usually read this every month since Feb so everything is still fresh in my mind. I have to admit, the FRQ’s i will kind of be scared of, but its not that bad.

7:00 - Wake Up and get ready for school
8:00 - School
4:00 - Work
9:00 - Study
6:59 AM - Sleep

No big deal… :P

@Jordan: I got a 2 on AP Lang too! College Board lost my essays. That was the ONE exam last year I KNEW I would pass. :(

I take that back; I’m only really “skimming” the english lit & spanish books. I got a 5 on english lang last year without any self-study, and as far as spanish goes, the best practice is really just immersing oneself. Maybe I’ll watch some tv en spanish…

@DavidTheNerd – I think my schedule is very similar to yours…lol

Also, anyone have any practical solutions for integrating your AP study schedule with your ‘real’ homework schedule?

Thanks!

My homework from classes is mostly a joke. In addition, I usually only study for APs on weekends, after I’ve finished all my homework

APUSH: 30 pages a day for 19 days. then, read rea crash course the day before sat subject test…
AP Bio: 20 pages a day…review labs
AP Calc: a test every week…
AP Lang: the occasional essay

Chem: I pick up 5 Steps as much as I can. I’m planning to start going through all the released FRQ’s (not necessarily doing them through, but making sure I would be comfortable doing the questions) and going back to clear up anything I’m hazy on/never learned in my IB class. This is the exam I am most apprehensive about.
APUSH: Relying on class, really. We have a quiz every day on AMSCO, and later we’ll be doing full length practices. I’ll probably look over the FRQ’s/cram packets/read the notes I spent hours and hours and hours taking.
BC Calc: Class led studying. The teachers have compiled ALL the FRQ’s into packets for us. And we are doing in class review and AP problems and review homework. I think it will be fine.
Stat: Class led studying again. This teacher really works us hard (in my opinion excessively for the level of material) so I think her prep will be sufficient. I’ll definitely be doing practice MC/FRQ’s in class and I’ll probably get a cram packet. This is also my last exam so I’m not too worried.
French: I honestly don’t even know This could very well be a disaster.
