What else can I do this last couple of months?

Ok well I just became serious about studying for the SAT's in the end of summer right a week before I enter my Junior year.... (A bit too late? =/) and I really never read any books besides the ones that my school requires...I just started studying vocabulary and I plan on buying the Direct Hit Core Vocabulary Volumes 1 & 2 and after I finish my Princeton Review's 11 tests, I will buy the CollegeBoard Blue Book...Anyways, I need to know what schedule I should follow in order to practice enough before the real SAT's...

-=-=-=-=-=-=-Information to base my schedule off:-=-=-=-=-=-=-
-=-My average math score is around 720, so I'm not issued around that at the moment.
-=-My average reading score is 570-610....So that, I'm worried about...
-=-My average writing score is about 630-650....but I have not really learned the grammar rules, so I can set aside some time to do that later on when I'm not focusing on CR
-=-Some classes worth mentioning to take into consideration for my SAT Schedule is AP Stat, Physics, Pre-Calculus, Honors English, Spanish 3, and History...and since school is going to start in a week, I don't know how much time I will spend each day doing homework...but I think I will spend about 2-3 hours each day doing homework.
-=-My school starts at 7:20am, and I wake up at 5:40 (To wake my sister up) and then go back to sleep until 6:10...I leave for school at 6:40 since my parents have work....My school ends at 2:15pm
-=- I was thinking about doing Track and Field for extracurricular activities, but it usually ends at 4-5 and the I only did Track and Field last year (Sophmore year) and I don't do any other extra curricular besides volunteering for 4 hours on Sunday at a hospital. So please take into consideration whether or not I should skip out on Track and Field for Spring or Winter, or maybe not at all this year...

So I don't know when to take the SAT's (My school starts September 6th and ends June 23rd) since I really just began studying for the SAT's....My worries are that I won't have enough time to bring my CR and Writing up enough for when I do decide to take the SATs. Since I don't have much time till the PSAT's (October), I am not worried how do I do on that...

So what I need from the wonderful people at CC (Which I love because of all the people who contribute here) is a little schedule on how much I should study for the time I have left and what I should study...basically like how much vocabulary words should I study each day, how many CR and Writing and some Math sections should I do a day, when should I take the SATs, etc. etc. etc., but remember to take into consideration the homework and whether or not I choose to do Track and Field when making the schedule....

Sorry that I am asking SOOOOO much, but I really need to impress my parents, especially my dad, who is a doctor and wants me to get a 2200+ and wants me to become a doctor, but I don't mind becoming one. I will edit this again once I get more information on my school schedule, but thanks CC for everything so far!@#!@

40 views and nothing? :(

I can’t really help you with your schedule because I haven’t studied for the SATs during the school year yet since I have only started this summer myself, however, I am very involved with Cross Country and Track and Field at my school, which is consistently one of the best, if not the best, program in the state. What I can tell you about that is unless you are very good (potential scholarship good) or you really love running, then don’t do it. Find something else that your are passionate about or that is more relevant to what you want to do in college (club or volunteer hours or whatever) or just save that time for homework/SAT studying since Junior year is notoriously hard. Fortunately enough, I love running and I am a top contributor on the team - and even if i wanted to stop my coach would probably pressure me into doing it lol - so I am determined to make it work but I am in for a rough year studies wise. So I’ll leave you with this - running would be an awful activity unless you are good at it or if you truly like it, and if you add something you don’t like to your regular homework and SAT schedule, you most likely will not be happy.

Hope that helps.

Thanks man, i hate running so i might skip out this year just to focus on studies, while still volunteering

But still need more help :)

Bump!@!..
