I wrote my own question about my love affair with the ellipsis.

I plan to major in chemistry, although that might change after I take college chem hahaha

I wrote my own question about my love affair with the ellipsis.

I plan to major in chemistry, although that might change after I take college chem hahaha

I wrote on apple and oranges with an economics point of view. First draft was a serious analysis, the final not so much.
And not surprisingly, my major is also supposed to be economics.
Btw i read somewhere that if you are good at writing comical essays then you should consider UChicago…

I chose “yo soy yo y mi circumstancia” cuz i thought they want something personal

i wrote about the mantis shrimp, talking about the ability to see through disguises. not sure if this is too common though…

(majors: psychology, neuroscience, music)

I wrote on the mantis shrimp prompt too! It’s a little hard to describe, but it touched mainly on cultural flux and the limitations of language, with a little bit of physics and philosophy mixed in too.

Majors: Public Policy Studies, Linguistics, Biological Sciences :)

“You and your…” prompt. It sounded like a serious prompt, so I matched it with a (fairly) serious essay. It ended pretty nicely though.

I wrote my essay on the history topic. I talked about he teacher protests I was part of at the capital and actuality of the event of history. I didn’t directly state it, but the ideas I talked about touched on a lot of ideas provided by Spivak.

I put policy scie, economics, and philosophy as majors

I wrote why i’m native american and therefore am better than all of you losers. Peace

I wrote on the Oranges and Apples prompt. Mine was pretty serious but in an unconventional format.
Majors: bio/neuroscience , literature, music

I wrote on the history prompt, and used the essay to point out what was missing from history education at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I defined “they” as the teachers/educators for the purposes of this essay and concluded with how history is a sum of the things that were missing.

For majors, I chose biological sciences, astronomy/astrophysics, and economics.

I made my own prompt, and asked myself what the most important thing I could be doing was - I talked about intolerance and crisis hotlines.

For majors, I chose Biological Sciences, International Studies and History.

I wrote the joke but I am not sure that I am funny enough…

Majors: Eco + Philosophy

BTW: How many words are you guys planning on writing? I got almost 1,000 words on mu first draft…(I got the feeling this might be too much…)

you are you and your :DDDDDD

in hindsight i should probably put a serious pun in. I like serious puns

you are you and your D?

LOL

omg this is beyond funny

I chose the mantis prompt!

I did the history one and wrote a creative piece about a sinister supragovernmental organization.

“You and your…” prompt. I like how the quote is in Spanish!

Apples and Oranges… compared them in a strange way but i guess it worked!
