What exactly do colleges mean by "consider everything"?

<p>Do colleges consider your best scores by category, or by sitting? </p>

<p>For example do they add up the best scores you got in each category, or look at your best overall score? </p>

<p>Sorry stupid question but no one seems to have asked it yet.</p>

<p>As a rule they take your best score form each category across multiple sittings. Some colleges don’t do this, but they are few. Only one way to find out for sure, though. Give them a call. You know what they say about assuming.</p>
