<p>Its a mix between biology medicine. You apply engineering principles to medicine. So an example would be designing and constructing artificial hearts, pacemakers, or simply designing machines that are used in the field of medicine such as MRI.</p>
<p>It’s basically a mix between machines and biology, but not necessarily as there are many interdisciplinary tracks such as tissue engineering, biotechnology, and image processing.</p>
