What fraternities should I rush?

I saw UmichGoBlue’s post on the 2015 fraternity rush and I was wondering what other fraternities would be good for me.

What I look for :

  • brotherhood
  • liked by mid tier sororities (top tier would be a plus)
  • genuinely nice brothers (not douchebags)
  • have mixers occasionally and throw parties every weekend
  • not a bottom tier fraternity (I wouldn't like that reputation)

I found that I liked Phi Delt the most from UmichGoBlue’s list. Can I get some more recommendations on where I should rush? Also, how many should I rush?

Finally, does it makes a difference if I’ll be a sophomore in the fall? I rushed winter term, but didn’t like the ones that I rushed.
