You mean Norm CRosby?
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0189030/

Yeah, Bing's brother, and Bill's cousin. Norm cr-os-r-os-by. Told you I was old.

Curmudgeon, I am glad I am home alone because people would wonder why I am laughing at a silent computer like this...that was hilarious. Thanks for lighting up my day.

I was referring to post #397.

Susie, YOU are funny too! Curmudgeon is funny no matter where he posts!!!!! No matter what post number. That's the good news. The bad news is.."he got me fired!" LOL!

Thanks for the kind words but so far today I have not generated one single word of billable material.( It is unlikely I can get anyone to pay me per cc post.) And I cannot fire myself because no one else would work for the wages I pay, so it's off to the salt mine for me. BTW, best line of the day imho was Sgio's simple but inspired, "Are you the Unabomber?". I am literally still chuckling about it.

"Simple is as simple does." My children's sentiments about me exactly. LOL!

Agree with Xiggi. Dems blew an election that was theirs to win. More pathetic, they gave it everything they had and still came up short.

Bulldog turned statesman-Carville gave subsequent speeches saying the Republicans have a great story, ie "We're conservative and we're going to protect you." The Dems, according to Carville, have a tired litany, namely, "We have a plan for this, that and the other thing." Plan equals ....snooze.

Hello, Dems? Here's a big secret from me: Senators cannot win elections. Too much history, (aka known as "flip-flops"). Anyone pay attention to the Dole campaign?

Governors are the presidential candidates of the day.

Now, let's see. Which party controls the largest states in the nation? Texas? Florida? California? New York? Uh huh. Those Republicans are not only tough tough competitors, they are long range planners.

ps IHH(In Humble Hindsight), Clinton should have been the Dem savior. Instead, his pathetic character--not his merit-based achievements, nor his extraordinary brain--energized a huge base of conservatism. And made Rush Limbaugh rich and powerful.

Ironic turn of events, no?

It is unlikely I can get anyone to pay me per cc post>>

Curmudgeon, I'D pay you for posts like that. Now, please excuse me. I have an urgent need to run to the bathroom because you have made me laugh too hard.
